Future Doctors Australia is always looking to connect with experienced medical professionals who are passionate about inspiring the next generation of doctors.

We welcome expressions of interest from qualified doctors, at fellowship level or above, who would enjoy presenting on behalf of their specialty to highly motivated senior students considering a future career in medicine.

Our programs currently run in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane, with a typical commitment of approximately three hours per program. A remuneration package is allocated for participating presenters. If you enjoy teaching, mentoring and sharing your clinical experience with young people, we would love to hear from you.

Are You Currently Studying Medicine?

Future Doctors Australia is also interested in hearing from current medical students (2nd year or above), who may wish to take part as student mentors during our programs in Perth or Brisbane. Student mentors play an important role in supporting selected segments of the program, assisting participants during activities, and sharing valuable insight into the medical student journey.

This is a great opportunity for medical students who enjoy mentoring, working with young people, and helping inspire the next generation of future doctors. A remuneration package is allocated for participating student mentors. To find out more, please contact the Program Director at
